OFS Technologies will invest more than 5 billion rubles in import substitution of equipment

The oil service company OFS Technologies (a former division of the American Baker Hughes in Russia) plans to invest more than 5 billion rubles until 2027 into the production of rotary-controlled systems (RCS), as well as increasing the localization of electronic boards and installations of electric centrifugal pumps (ESP). A company representative told Vedomosti about this on the sidelines of the Tyumen Oil and Gas Forum (TNF-2023).

“The company places its main emphasis on the production of RUS. Today, this equipment is not produced on an industrial scale [in Russia]. Its serial production requires a set of highly specialized high-tech machines and equipment,” the source explained.
