OFS Technologies begins construction of a complex for the production of high-tech oilfield service equipment in Tyumen. Commissioning of the facility is scheduled for 2025. The ceremony of laying the first stone of the complex took place on September 19, 2023.
At the new production facility, the company will produce high-tech equipment for directional drilling, including rotary steerable systems, drill bits, well completion systems, electric centrifugal pump elements and drill bits. The production line will be supported by more than 70 specialized machines. The OFS Technologies company will invest about 3 billion rubles to implement the project.
“This is a project with large-scale investments and the shortest possible implementation time. For us, the launch of the Tyumen production complex is the most important stage in business development, because it will allow us to continuously update equipment, which means solving the issue of providing customers with high-tech equipment and significantly reducing dependence on external suppliers,” commented David Gadzhimirzaev, president of OFS Technologies.
The company plans to use the facilities of the Tyumen production complex to update its own equipment fleet. In the future, opportunities to enter Russian and foreign markets are being considered.
